Boiler Service Add Ons

Gas Fire

£2.50 a month

We will carry out an annual service and safety check of your gas fire. Gas fires need regular servicing to ensure they are working safely and to identify any problems.

What's Included?

A visual check to ensure your fire still meets current standards
Identification of any working faults during operation
Checks to ensure flue terminals are unobstructed and internal flue components are properly sealed
Gas tightness test to ensure no leaks
Service report

What's Not Included?

Repairs, spare parts and replacement fires

Gas Cooker

£1 a month

We will carry out a visual safety check of your gas cooker and/or hob. This is an important check, to ensure that they are working safely and to identify any problems.

What's Included?

The ventilation provided is adequate
Safety devices are working correctly
The piping is rigid and not flexible hose (built-in hobs only)
Stability brackets are correctly installed where required (freestanding cookers only)
Good combustion is taking place
Any oven doors have a good seal
The appliance is safe to use

Repairs, spare parts and replacement cookers or hobs

Unvented Cylinder

£2 a month

Checking the condition of the seals for leaks

What's Included?

Checking the condition of the seals for leaks
Testing whether the temperature and pressure relief valve and expansion valves are working
Ensuring that there are no blockages in the tundish drain
Cleaning the combination valve/pressure reduction valve and line strainer
Pressure expansion vessel check (if so equipped)
Main and boost immersion heater and thermostat function testing Service record completion

Landlord Gas Safety Certificate (CP12)

£1 a month

All landlords are required to have their gas appliances serviced regularly to make sure they are efficient and safe, as stated in the Gas Safety (Installations & Use 2018) Regulations. The cost of a certificate to a Landlord covers the time required to undertake the certification process.

When servicing the boiler according to the Service Plan, we will also create and provide the required certification in the currently approved format. This certificate will be provided on an annual basis.
